2017 Christmas Cross

The 2017 Christmas Cross is now available!  The cross is a great St. James's Christmas tradition and annual work of love by Children's Center board members and friends.

This year's crosses are available for a donation of $30 each. Each cross you purchase covers the cost of a hot lunch for one of our children for two weeks.

The 2017 Cross features a central intaglio cross rimmed in gold.  The cross hangs from a golden cord. The cross is presented in a natural burlap case complete with a presentation gift card.

The crosses are available at the Taste of St. James's on November 15, the St. James's Alternative Gift Fair on December 10 and at the Children's Center table on the corner of Birch and Franklin between Sunday services at St. James's Episcopal Church on December 3 and 17. Place your order by email at  wpcanup@doers.org.

Ways to Donate

Every day, working families struggle to balance the demands of multiple jobs with their desire to do the very best for their children. Each of our families pays what they can afford. Yet tuition and fees cover less than half of our actual costs.

We rely on your support in our vital mission for Richmond’s most deserving young learners. Please help us by making a tax-deductible donation today.

We are an approved 501(c)(3) organization. Your gift to St. James’s Children’s Center is tax deductible.

Corporate & Foundation Partners

Founded by St. James’s Church as an expression of God’s action in the world, the Children’s Center is a non-religious program. We welcome children and staff without regard to race, creed, religion, color, national origin or race. Each year St. James’s Church provides a leadership gift of our beautiful classroom space, as well as utilities and limited operating support.

To ensure the sustainability of our programs, each year the Children’s Center must raise over $450,000 to meet operating costs. Our mission on behalf of deserving young learners is supported by foundations, corporations and individuals from throughout the region and the country.

On behalf of the children we serve, we wish to extend our sincere thanks to each of our supporters. As you review our list of corporate and foundation supporters and community partners, we ask that you consider a gift from your organization to support our work with deserving children.
